INTRODUCTION: contemporary cognitive research highlights the close link between cognition and sensorimotor experience, prompting a rethinking of music pedagogy. AIM: to analyze the role of embodied cognition in music education and explain the significance of sensorimotor integration and interoception. MATERIALS AND METHODS: a theoretical review of embodied cognition and neuroscience findings, including mirror-neuron research and movement-based pedagogy, was conducted. DISCUSSION AND RESULTS: musical understanding relies on motor simulation; interoceptive awareness enhances vocal stability. An โEmbodied Music Lessonโ model is proposed. CONCLUSION: the embodied approach deepens performance skills and emotional engagement in music learning.
