INTRODUCTION: this article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations for organizing the independent work of students majoring in fine arts at higher educational institutions within a digital educational environment. In particular, it considers the methodology for teaching the disciplines โDrawingโ and โPaintingโ in an integrated format using modern information technologies such as gamification, virtual reality, and interactive modules. The study scientifically substantiates a three-stage modular approach developed with consideration of the cognitive characteristics of Generation Beta students and reveals its pedagogical effectiveness. AIM: the main aim of this research is to develop and scientifically justify an innovative methodology for the effective organization of studentsโ independent work in the disciplines โDrawingโ and โPaintingโ within a digital educational environment. The use of digital technologies in the modern educational process plays an important role in developing studentsโ creative activity, forming independent thinking skills, and increasing the effectiveness of art education. Within the framework of the study, the following tasks are addressed: to determine the pedagogical significance of independent learning in teaching the disciplines โDrawingโ and โPaintingโ; to analyze modern forms and methods of organizing studentsโ independent work in a digital educational environment; to study the possibilities of using electronic educational platforms, graphic software, and online learning tools; to develop innovative methodological approaches aimed at enhancing studentsโ creative activities; to identify mechanisms for digital monitoring and assessment of independent work. The scientific significance of the study lies in the creation of a new pedagogical model for organizing independent learning based on digital technologies in the system of art education. METHODS AND MATERIALS: in the course of the research, several scientific methods commonly used in pedagogy and art education were applied. First, the method of analyzing scientific and theoretical literature was used to study existing scientific views on art education, the organization of independent learning, and digital educational technologies. Second, the comparative method was applied to compare traditional teaching methods with the possibilities of a digital educational environment and to analyze their pedagogical effectiveness. Third, the methods of pedagogical observation and experimental research were used to study the process of organizing studentsโ independent work and to determine the effectiveness of innovative methodological approaches. Fourth, the methods of generalization and systematization were applied to scientifically analyze the research results and formulate methodological conclusions. The research materials included curricula for the disciplines โDrawingโ and โPaintingโ, methodological manuals, electronic educational platforms, graphic software, and independent creative works completed by students. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: the results of the study showed that the digital educational environment creates wide opportunities for developing studentsโ independent creative activity. Through modern digital technologies, students gain access to visual materials, video lectures, online master classes, and electronic methodological resources. During the organization of independent work in the disciplines โDrawingโ and โPaintingโ, the following innovative methodological approaches were identified as effective: systematic collection and analysis of studentsโ creative works through digital portfolios; organization of ะดะธััะฐะฝัะธะพะฝะฝัั consultations and analysis of works through online educational platforms; expansion of creative possibilities through the use of graphic software and digital illustration tools; organization of virtual exhibitions for evaluating and discussing studentsโ works. The study also revealed that the digital educational environment increases studentsโ motivation for independent work and positively influences the development of their creative thinking and artistic imagination. As a result, the interactivity and effectiveness of the educational process increase. CONCLUSION: the results of the research show that the innovative methodology for organizing studentsโ independent work in the disciplines โDrawingโ and โPaintingโ within a digital educational environment plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of art education.The use of digital technologies makes it possible to activate studentsโ creative activities, develop their independent work skills, and organize the educational process in accordance with modern pedagogical requirements.In addition, the use of electronic educational resources, graphic software, and online platforms opens new methodological opportunities in the system of art education. In the future, it is necessary to further improve the methodology of organizing art education based on digital technologies and widely introduce innovative pedagogical approaches into educational practice.
