MAQSAD: maqolaning maqsadi bo‘lajak mutaxassislarning professional ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirishda malakaviy amaliyotning tutgan o‘rnini tahlil qilish, ushbu jarayonning samaradorligini oshiruvchi omillarni aniqlash va uni takomillashtirish bo‘yicha ilmiy asoslangan takliflar ishlab chiqishdan iborat. MATERIALLAR VA METODLAR: tadqiqotda D. Kolbning tajribaviy o‘rganish, D. Shyonning reflektiv amaliyot hamda J. Erpenbek va V. Heysening kompetensiyaviy yondashuv nazariyalari metodologik asos qilib olindi. Shuningdek, ilmiy adabiyotlar tahlili, tizimli yondashuv va pedagogik kuzatuv metodlaridan foydalanildi. INTRODUCTION: in the modern education system, training competitive specialists requires not only theoretical knowledge but also practical readiness. In the context of globalization, internship serves as one of the most important pedagogical tools for developing professional skills and adapting students to professional activities. AIM: the objective of the article is to analyze the role of professional internship in developing the professional skills of future specialists, identify factors that ensure its effectiveness, and develop scientifically grounded conclusions for improving this process. MATERIALS AND METHODS: the research is based on D. Kolb's experiential learning theory, D. Schön's reflective practice concept, and the competency-based approach of J. Erpenbeck and V. Heyse. Methods of scientific literature analysis, systematic approach, and pedagogical observation were utilized. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: the results indicate that during the internship, students develop professional thinking, communication culture, and problem-solving skills in an integrated manner. It was found that internship ensures the continuity between theory and industry, facilitating the student's professional identification. CONCLUSION: professional internship is a strategic link in preparing future specialists for the labor market. To increase its effectiveness, it is essential to strengthen the partnership between education and industry and to implement innovative pedagogical approaches in internship programs.
