in contemporary teacher education, philology students require not only disciplinary knowledge and methodological skills but also competence in making well-grounded pedagogical decisions. Decision-making is treated as a complex cognitive process in which reflection provides analytical and predictive support. The paper builds on Dewey’s and Schön’s perspectives to frame reflection as a bridge between experience, analysis of action, and improved practice.
