INTRODUCTION: this article analyzes the main factors in the development of professional competencies in pedagogical techniques. Opinions are expressed on the relevance of the issues of using pedagogical technology in the education system and the importance of developing professional competencies. The article describes the importance of pedagogical technique in teacher activity, the main components of pedagogical technique, and ways of forming pedagogical technique. As well as methods of developing professional competencies and AIM: the issues of developing professional competencies in the modern education system are of current importance, and their reflection in the educational process is the development of professional competencies of future teachers. MATERIALS AND METHODS: in this article, several methods were used to prepare future teachers for pedagogical activity based on the development of professional competencies, the formation of pedagogical techniques: analysis of literature, conducting surveys, practical research, statistical analysis. DISCUSSION AND RESULTS: in this article, strategies for preparing future teachers for pedagogical activity based on the development of professional competence were analyzed. The necessity of ensuring the use of pedagogical techniques in the education system and the development of professional competencies is indicated. The research results show that the development of professional competencies through pedagogical techniques contributes to the strengthening of the personal and professional development of future teachers and teachers of educational institutions, as well as the improvement of teachers' qualifications. CONCLUSION: in the education system, there is an opportunity to solve social problems in the educational process by developing professional competencies through pedagogical techniques. However, it is necessary to pay attention to issues of professional competence and implement certain measures to overcome existing barriers in improving the qualifications of teachers
