KIRISH: mazkur maqolada O‘zbekiston televideniyesining tashkil topish tarixi, uning 60 yildan ortiq davr mobaynida bosib o‘tgan taraqqiyot yo‘li va bugungi kundagi holati tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda milliy va xususiy telekanallarning o‘ziga xos xususiyatlari, ko‘rsatuvlar saviyasi, kadrlar mahorati va xorijiy media mahsulotlarining milliy ma’naviyatga ta’siri masalalari ilmiy-tanqidiy nuqtayi nazardan ko‘rib chiqiladi. MAQSAD: televideniye sohasidagi zamonaviy muammolarni aniqlash, xususan, nutq madaniyati, rejissura va jurnalistika uyg‘unligi hamda efirga uzatilayotgan mahsulotlarning g‘oyaviy-mazmuniy darajasini oshirish bo‘yicha takliflar ishlab chiqish maqsad qilingan. MATERIALLAR VA METODLAR: tarixiy-qiyosiy metod, tahlil, tanqidiy kuzatuv metodlaridan foydalaniladi. MUHOKAMA VA NATIJALAR: televideniye qisqa muddatda ulkan texnologik yuksalishga erishgan bo‘lsa-da, kontent sifatining hamma vaqt ham bu sur’atga mos kelmayotgani kuzatilmoqda. Tahlillar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, "Uzreport" va "Mening yurtim" kabi kanallarda zamonaviy rejissura va jonli efir madaniyati shakllangan. Biroq, ayrim kanallarda (masalan, "Zo‘r TV") tijoriy maqsadlarning ma’naviy saviyadan ustun kelishi, boshlovchilarning bachkanaligi va shevada so‘zlashishi kabi salbiy holatlar mavjud. INTRODUCTION: this article analyzes the history of the establishment of Uzbek television, its development path over more than 60 years and its current state. The study examines the specific features of national and private television channels, the level of programs, the skills of personnel, and the impact of foreign media products on national spirituality from a scientific and critical point of view. AIM: the aim is to identify modern problems in the field of television, in particular, to develop proposals for improving the culture of speech, the harmony of directing and journalism, and the ideological and substantive level of broadcast products. MATERIALS AND METHODS: the historical-comparative method, analysis, and critical observation methods are used. DISCUSSION AND RESULTS: although television has achieved tremendous technological progress in a short period of time, it is observed that the quality of content does not always keep up with this pace. Analysis shows that on channels such as "Uzreport" and "Mening Yurtim", a modern directing and live broadcast culture has been formed. However, on some channels (for example, "Zor TV") there are negative situations, such as the prevalence of commercial goals over the spiritual level, the lack of professionalism of the presenters and the use of dialect. CONCLUSION: television is a high art form, which is the main tool in shaping the spirituality of society. To develop the industry, it is necessary to radically improve not only the technical base, but also the quality of personnel. In particular, it is necessary to work on the culture of speech, restore the traditions of "teacher-student" and accelerate the production of national series. Responsibility for the quality of the broadcast lies not only with the author, but also with the entire TV channel team.
