KIRISH: zamonaviy ta’lim tizimida ingliz tilini o‘qitish jarayoni nafaqat lingvistik bilimlarni egallash, balki talabalarning shaxsiy rivojlanishini ta’minlashga ham qaratilgan. Globallashuv sharoitida “muvaffaqiyat” tushunchasi ko‘p qirrali mazmunga ega bo‘lib, u kasbiy kompetensiya, kommunikativ mahorat va ijtimoiy faollik bilan chambarchas bog‘liqdir. Shu bois loyiha faoliyati ingliz tili darslarida mazkur konseptni chuqur anglashning samarali vositasi sifatida namoyon bo‘ladi. MAQSAD: oliy ta’lim muassasalari talabalariga ingliz tilini o‘qitish jarayonida loyiha faoliyati orqali “muvaffaqiyat” konseptini anglash mexanizmlarini aniqlash va uning pedagogik samaradorligini asoslash. Mazkur maqolada loyiha faoliyatining oliy ta’lim muassasalarida ingliz tilini o‘qitish jarayonida “muvaffaqiyat” konseptini anglash va talabalarda mazkur tushunchaga nisbatan ongli munosabatni shakllantirishdagi ahamiyati yoritiladi. Loyiha asosida o‘qitish talabalarning mustaqil fikrlash, muloqotga kirishish, muammoni hal qilish hamda ijodiy yondashuv ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirishga xizmat qiladi. Shuningdek, ushbu metod orqali talabalarda shaxsiy va kasbiy muvaffaqiyat omillarini anglash, o‘z maqsadlarini belgilash va ularga erishish strategiyalarini ishlab chiqish imkoniyati yaratiladi. MATERIALLAR VA METODLAR: tadqiqot jarayonida pedagogik kuzatuv, suhbat, so‘rovnoma, tajriba-sinov ishlari hamda taqqoslash metodlaridan foydalanildi. Ingliz tili darslarida “Successful Person”, “My Future Career”, “Keys to Success” kabi mavzularda loyihalar tashkil etildi. Talabalarning faoliyati tahlil qilinib, ularning kommunikativ kompetensiyasi va motivatsion darajasi o‘rganildi. MUHOKAMA VA NATIJALAR: tajriba natijalari loyiha faoliyati talabalarning ingliz tilida erkin fikr bildirish, jamoada ishlash va mustaqil izlanish olib borish ko‘nikmalarini sezilarli darajada rivojlantirganini ko‘rsatdi. Talabalar “muvaffaqiyat” tushunchasini faqat moddiy natija emas, balki shaxsiy o‘sish, bilim va tajriba orttirish jarayoni sifatida talqin eta boshladilar. Bu esa ularning ichki motivatsiyasi va o‘quv faolligini oshirdi. ХULOSA: loyiha faoliyati ingliz tilini o‘qitishda samarali pedagogik vosita bo‘lib, u talabalarning nafaqat til kompetensiyasini, balki “muvaffaqiyat” konseptiga oid dunyoqarashini ham shakllantiradi. INTRODUCTION: in the modern educational system, teaching English is aimed not only at developing linguistic knowledge but also at ensuring the comprehensive personal development of students. In the context of globalization, the concept of “success” has a multifaceted nature and is closely connected with professional competence, communicative proficiency, and social activity. In this regard, project-based learning serves as an effective tool for a deeper understanding of this concept in English language classes. AIM: to identify the mechanisms for understanding the concept of “success” through project-based learning in the process of teaching English to university students and to substantiate its pedagogical effectiveness. This article explores the significance of project-based learning in teaching English to university students as a means of comprehending the concept of “success.” Project-based learning fosters the development of students’ independent thinking, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and creative approach to learning. Moreover, this method creates opportunities for understanding personal and professional factors of success, setting goals, and developing strategies to achieve them. MATERIALS AND METHODS: the study employed methods such as pedagogical observation, interviews, questionnaires, experimental work, and comparative analysis. Projects on topics such as “Successful Person,” “My Future Career,” and “Keys to Success” were organized in English classes. Students’ activities were analyzed, and their communicative competence and level of motivation were examined. DISCUSSION AND RESULTS: the results of the experiment demonstrated that project-based learning significantly enhances students’ ability to express their ideas freely in English, work collaboratively, and conduct independent research. Students began to interpret the concept of “success” not only as a material outcome but also as a process of personal growth and the acquisition of knowledge and experience. This contributed to an increase in their intrinsic motivation and academic engagement. CONCLUSION: project-based learning is an effective pedagogical tool in teaching English, contributing not only to the development of students’ language competence but also to their conceptual understanding of “success.” This method promotes learners’ independence, creativity, and professional orientation.
