XX asr boshlarida vujudga kelgan jadidchilik harakati o‘zbek xalqining milliy uyg‘onishi, ma’naviy taraqqiyoti va zamonaviy tafakkur shakllanishida muhim tarixiy hodisa bo‘ldi. Jadidlarning ma’rifatparvarlik, ozodlik va taraqqiyot g‘oyalari nafaqat adabiyot va ijtimoiy fikrda, balki teatr va musiqa san’atida ham chuqur aks etdi. Bugungi kunda ushbu g‘oyalarni musiqali drama janri orqali sahnaga olib chiqish, ularni zamonaviy badiiy vositalar yordamida talqin etish dolzarb masalalardan biridir. Ana shu jihatdan “Yorug‘ yulduzlar” musiqali dramasi jadidlar merosini musiqiy-dramaturgik jihatdan qayta talqin etgan muhim sahna asari sifatida ilmiy tahlilga loyiqdir.
the jadidism movement that arose at the beginning of the 20th century was an important historical phenomenon in the formation of the national awakening, spiritual development and modern thinking of the Uzbek people. The jadids ' ideas of enlightenment, liberation and progress were deeply reflected not only in literature and social thought, but also in theatre and musical art. Today, bringing these ideas to the stage through the genre of musical drama, interpreting them using modern artistic means, is one of the pressing issues. In this respect, the musical drama “Light stars” deserves scientific analysis as an important stage work that has reinterpreted the Jadid heritage musically-dramaturgically.
