KIRISH: ushbu maqolada zamonaviy kino va televideniye san’atida ovoz rejissyorligining dramaturgik funksiyalari hamda maxsus effektlarning (SFX) badiiypsixologik o‘rni kompleks ilmiy tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda audio-vizual sintez tamoyillari asosida ovozning ekran asaridagi kompozitsion, semantik va emotsional vazifalari ochib beriladi. Ovoz rejissyorligi jarayoni nafaqat texnik ijro, balki dramaturgik tafakkur mahsuli ekani asoslab berilib, uning konfliktni shakllantirish, qahramonning ichki ruhiy holatini ifodalash, makon va vaqt muhitini yaratishdagi roli yoritiladi. MAQSAD: tadqiqotning asosiy maqsadi — audio-dramaturgiyaning nazariy asoslarini aniqlash hamda ekran asarlarida ovozdan badiiy ifoda vositasi sifatida samarali foydalanishning amaliy mexanizmlarini o‘rganishdan iborat. MATERIALLAR VA METODLAR: tadqiqot jarayonida quyidagi ilmiy yondashuv va metodlardan foydalanildi: • kino va televideniye asarlaridagi ovoz yechimlarini qiyosiy tahlil qilish; • audio-vizual qatlamning strukturaviy-dramaturgik tahlili; • ovozni mazmun hosil qiluvchi belgi sifatida talqin etishda semiotik yondashuv; • sahna va epizodlarda SFX hamda foley texnologiyalarining amaliy qo‘llanilishini o‘rganish. Empirik asos sifatida ovoz nafaqat tasvirni to‘ldiruvchi, balki mustaqil narrativ vosita sifatida ishtirok etuvchi zamonaviy ekran asarlari tahlil qilindi. MUHOKAMA VA NATIJALAR: tahlillar shuni ko‘rsatdiki, ekran asarlarida ovoz quyidagi dramaturgik funksiyalarni bajaradi: • sahnaning emotsional fonini shakllantirish; • vizual qatlamni kuchaytirish yoki unga kontrapunkt yaratish; • qahramonning ichki kechinmalarini ifodalash; • ekran makonini modellashtirish; • narrativ ritmni tashkil etish. Ayniqsa, kontrapunkt usulidan foydalanish muhim ahamiyat kasb etadi. Bunda ovoz tasvirni takrorlamaydi, balki u bilan ma’no darajasida o‘zaro ta’sirga kirishadi. Shuningdek, foley va SFX texnologiyalari sahnaning psixologik chuqurligini oshirish, realizm hissini kuchaytirish va tomoshabinning immersiyasini ta’minlashda muhim rol o‘ynashi aniqlandi. XULOSA: audio-dramaturgiya zamonaviy ekran san’atining muhim tarkibiy qismi hisoblanadi. Ovoz yordamchi element emas, balki mustaqil badiiy ifoda vositasi sifatida narrativ tuzilishga va tomoshabin qabuliga bevosita ta’sir ko‘rsatadi. Ovozdan ongli va dramaturgik asosda foydalanish ekran asarining badiiy salohiyatini kengaytiradi hamda uning emotsional ta’sir kuchini oshiradi.
INTRODUCTION: this article provides a comprehensive analysis of the dramaturgical functions of sound directing in contemporary cinema and television, as well as the artistic and psychological role of special sound effects (SFX). Based on the principles of audiovisual synthesis, the compositional, semantic, and emotional functions of sound in screen works are examined. It is argued that sound directing is not merely a technical process but also a product of dramaturgical thinking. Its role in shaping conflict, expressing the inner psychological state of characters, and creating spatial and temporal environments is highlighted. AIM: the main objective of the study is to identify the theoretical foundations of audio dramaturgy and to explore practical mechanisms for the effective use of sound as an expressive tool in screen storytelling. MATERIALS AND METHODS: the study employed the following approaches: • comparative analysis of sound solutions in film and television; • structural-dramaturgical analysis of the audiovisual layer; • semiotic interpretation of sound as a meaning-producing element; • practical examination of the use of SFX and foley technologies in shaping artistic imagery. As an empirical basis, contemporary screen works were analyzed in which sound functions not only as a supportive element but also as an independent narrative device. DISCUSSION AND RESULTS: the analysis demonstrated that sound in screen works performs several dramaturgical functions: • shaping the emotional background of a scene; • reinforcing or counterpointing the visual layer; • revealing the inner state of a character; • modeling screen space; • organizing the rhythmic structure of the narrative. Particular importance lies in the use of counterpoint, where sound does not simply replicate the image but interacts with it at the level of meaning. The study also found that foley and SFX technologies enhance the psychological depth of scenes, create a sense of realism, and increase audience immersion. CONCLUSION: audio dramaturgy is a crucial component of contemporary screen art. Sound functions not as an auxiliary element but as a fully independent expressive medium that directly influences narrative structure and audience perception. The conscious and dramaturgically grounded use of sound expands the artistic potential of screen language and strengthens its emotional impact.
