KIRISH: ushbu maqolada tarixiy kartografiya metodlari yordamida talabalarda mantiqiy tafakkur ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirishning nazariy va amaliy jihatlari tahlil qilinadi. tarixiy xaritalar o‘quv jarayonida nafaqat faktual ma’lumot manbai sifatida, balki fikrlash, tahlil qilish va xulosalar chiqarish vositasi sifatida ham qo‘llanilishi mumkinligi ko‘rsatildi. MAQSAD: maqolada tarixiy kartografik tahlilning pedagogik ahamiyati, talabalarning ma’lumotlarni strukturaviy tarzda qabul qilishi, sabab-oqibat munosabatlarini aniqlash va mantiqiy bog‘liqliklarni tushunish jarayonidagi roli yoritiladi. MATERIALLAR VA METODLAR: tadqiqotda tarixiy xaritalar asosida vizual tahlil, pedagogik metodika va mantiqiy tafakkurni shakllantirishga qaratilgan amaliy mashg‘ulotlar tahlil qilindi. MUHOKAMA VA NATIJALAR: tarixiy kartografiya talabalarda sabab-oqibat munosabatlarini aniqlash, mantiqiy bog‘liqliklarni tushunish va ma’lumotlarni tizimli qabul qilish ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirishga xizmat qiladi. XULOSA: tarixiy xaritalardan foydalanish ta’lim jarayonida talabalarning mantiqiy tafakkurini rivojlantirishda samarali pedagogik vosita hisoblanadi.
INTRODUCTION: the article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of developing students’ logical thinking skills through historical cartography methods. historical maps are shown to serve not only as sources of factual information but also as tools for reasoning, analysis, and drawing conclusions. PURPOSE: to highlight the pedagogical significance of historical cartographic analysis, its role in students’ structured perception of information, identification of causeeffect relationships, and understanding of logical connections. MATERIALS AND METHODS: the study employed visual analysis of historical maps, pedagogical techniques, and practical exercises aimed at fostering logical thinking. DISCUSSION AND RESULTS: historical cartography helps students develop skills in identifying cause-effect relations, understanding logical connections, and perceiving information in a systematic way. CONCLUSION: the use of historical maps in the educational process is an effective pedagogical tool for enhancing students’ logical thinking.
